A room full of students. A stage full of people who have shaped policy, institutions, and
systems. And
conversations that actually went beyond headlines. What stood out to me wasn’t just the
panels, it was the
framing. Listening to leaders like Maj Gen Ashok Narula, AVSM (Retd), Anuj Gupta, Srinivasan
R, Sunil Pant
and others reinforced something important: India’s next phase won’t just be built by
policymakers or CEOs.
It will be shaped by informed, intentional young people who understand systems and systemic
change. What I
appreciated most was that students weren’t treated as passive attendees. The expectation was
clear:
Observe. Question. Engage. Contribute.
Grateful to have been in a room where careers were discussed alongside civic responsibility.
India’s
growth story is exciting. But understanding how it’s being built is even more important.

Attended the NationBuilding Conclave today and sat in on a compelling panel discussion: “The Big Shift: Is India Entering Its Golden Economic Era?”The conversation, featuring Anuj Gupta, Debajyoti Ray Chaudhuri, and Sunil Pant, moved beyond macro headlines and into something more concrete: where will real job creation come from in the next decade? One question stood out: Which sectors are most likely to generate large-scale employment over the next 10 years? India’s next economic chapter may not be built on one breakthrough industry. It may come from intersections — agriculture + tech, EV + manufacturing, AI + productivity in traditional sectors. The discussion felt less like optimism and more like structural transition.
